I sent a Voting Request to about 30 recipients and the Show Group wasn't available until after I actually opened one of the responses. I don't feel like I should have to vote in my own poll, but I did.
Step 1: Double click the email message with voting button to open it in message window.
Step 2: click the Vote button in the Response group on the Message tab. Compatible with Outlook 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office 365 (32/64); Compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 / 8 / 10, Windows Server 2003/2008, Citrix System and Windows Terminal (Remote Desktop) Server; I want to put my voting buttons (as clickable buttons) at the bottom of the message after the survey question.
On occasion, it could happen that message tracking is not working correctly and responses are not automatically recorded in Outlook.
This article is arranged to guild you add and use voting buttons in Microsoft outlook with ease. This method also works for when you got an answer to a meeting invitation via telephone, at the water cooler or via any other means besides Outlook. After sending an email message with voting button, you may need to know the voting results or responses from the recipients.I've been running Office 2003 and Office 2007 and noticed this happen in both instances..If a meeting request is sent out, when a user is trying to find out who's accepting and declining the request; the tracking tab is not picking up the responses.
Seriously, I had know idea how formatting affected my question so seriously, so I again, apologize. I am an old-school DOS-taught secretary who is only asking for some advice. If you have an answer for my query it would be seriously appreciated. Outlook will only track replies to your default (personal) calendar, so if you are using a shared event booking calendar it will not track them (although you should still receive an email when someone accepts/declines the event.
